Primordial Soups are the result of a process of improvisation, where the artist(s) start drawing without subject, or theme. The beginning is simply about throwing down random lines that create random shapes. Out of these shapes emerge patterns, figures and things in the eye of the artist(s). They may choose to bring some of these forward by adding definition and details. It eventually leads to an organic composition, freely blending abstraction and figuration.
